Tho three-act comedy to bo produced at His Majesty’s Theatre on Wednesday and the two following nights should draw largo audiences, not only because the proceeds are to be devoted to such a worthy cause as tho relief of sufferers by the late floods, but further for the reason that the comedy is bright and sparkling, and the production last August shewed that it is m capable hands. Tho Dunedin and Wellington press critics gave the highest praise. “Mr Do Spong as Mr Smith was excellent. He w T as never at a loss, and things moving at the requisite pace.” The club was congratulated on having two such promising performers as Miss Ililliker and Miss •Johnson. Miss Smith and Miss Sullivan also received special mention. In fact, all members of the cast pleased both nress and public. The box plan will be open at tho Bristol on Monday morning.
