ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL. TO THE SDTTOn. Sin.—ln looking over the fixtures for Saturday the residents of Kaitangata and surrounding district must have been taken by surprise in noticing that the O.F.A. has deprived them the privilege of seeing a game. , . Why has the association altered the arrangements (hat have held for years, that a team plays at home one Saturday and travels the following Saturday? Before Mount Zion entered the competitions Kaitangata travelled to Dunedin seven or eight times during the season, while each of the Dunedin teams travelled to Kaitangata onlv once. Now that Mount Zion is ako travelling, the public naturally expects to see a match every Saturday. No doubt the O.F.A. will expect' Mount Zion or Kaitangata to travel again the following Saturday. Is this all done to try and break the hearts of the players, so that there may be a chance of the teams withdrawing from the competitions? Kaitangata is the home of Soccer in Otago. Let the O.F.A. announce the takings at Culling Park to the clubs if it is not advisable to give it publicly. Kaitangnt.a is not ashamed to give its gate takings.—l am, etc., Kxcouhage Soccer. Kaitangata, May 24. The chance of one finger-print being exactly like another is 1 to 64,000,000,000.
