WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS, 'Frr United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH May 24. An application was made in the Supreme Court by tho Roy. Mr Rule (superintendent of tho Presbyterian Homo) before Mr Justice Adams for a writ of habeas corpus compelling Annie M. Brocker to produce in court the two boys whom she took from Ihe Presbyterian camp, Brighton. Counsel stated that Mrs Brookcr was serving a sentence of two months at Mount Edon for assault. The Judge said it was impossible for her to obey the order while in gaol. Tho order was made, hut the judge in structed that the writ be not issued (ill Saturday, when Mrs Brocker will he re leased. She will be commanded to produce the boys in court here on Juno 12. when argument will be beard why the boys should not he returned lo the custody of the father who placed them in tho home some, years ago.
