SUGAR SUPPLIES.
GOVERNMENT TO RELINQUISH CONTROL. (Pm United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 24. It is the intention of the Government to relinquish control of Now Zealand’s sugar supplies within the next three months. This was announced by Mr Massey this evening. He said that Government control of this commodity w’ould cease not later than tho beginning or tho middle of August next. The neecossary arrangements for the change were being made.
