THE PATRIARCH TIKHON. DENOUNCED BY CHURCH CONCLAVE. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, May 4. The Daily Express’s Moscow correspondent states that the All-Russian Church Conclave, which is composed entirely of Soviet-supporting clerics, to-day formally deposed the Patriarch Tikhon. They denounced him as a <; traitor to Church and State, and declared that the Soviet was the £>nly Government in the world fighting capitalism, which was one of the seven capital sins.—A. and N.Z.
