PUT TWO PLUGS UNDER SEAT in 1915 and they are still there! East Parade, ROSENEATH, WELLINGTON, 16th April, 1923. The Colonial Motor Co., Ltd., , WELLINGTON. Dear Sirs, I want' to let you know what a wonderful proposition the “ Ford ” Car has been to me. I purchased one second-hand in Wellington in the year 1915, and have given it hard running continuously ever since, and X can say positively and truthfully that it has not cost me anything for repairs, save that in one small accident I had, I had to replace a pair of lamp rims. • I have relined the transmission myself three times. I kept my mileage record at first until it ran into thousands- but it has now got beyond all records. The sparking plugs I have in the car to-day are the same sparking plugs as when I purchased the car. The only expenses I have- had with the car have been for benzine, oil and grease, tyres and tubes. My average consumption of benzine is in the vicinity of 30 miles per gallon. When I say the “ Ford ” Car is a wonderful proposition I say so not only from a purchaser’s point of view, but from an engineering point of view, and my knowledge of engines extends over many many years. I have the record of having installed and put together the first internal combustion engine in New Zealand. My present age is 72 and I am still driving the car and we are both going strong. Yours faithfully, (Sgd.) H. CORRICK. You may joke about the —but it sets there ! Sole Local Dealers: Ford Motors (Dunedin) Ltd HOPE STREET, DUNEDIN. New Stocks Just Arrived. Inspection Invited.
