The Duke of Sutherland, speaking at Woking, said: “I have been engaged with the Air Ministry on a scheme for running an air service to India in 72 hours. That may seem an impossibility at the present moment, but I think’it will come before long. , , .... “We are also discussing the possibility of light aeroplanes, and soon people will be able to go for a week-end in a machine costing £BO or £9O, from which the greatest fool can fall and not hurt himself.”—A. and N.Z.
