At the third animal conference of the Insurance Officers’ Guild of New Zealand delegates were present from Auckland, Wellington. Christchurch, and Dunedin. The President (Mr B. S. Brice) referred to the giowlh <>£ the guild and with its activities in the past, year. He also outlined (ho important work to he nndeitnkeii during the current year. In recognition of his outstanding -ervices to the guild, and the whole guild movement. Mr E. E. Hammond, the guild's first president, was unanimously elected a life mem her. Mr Brice was re-elected president, the other officials elected being : Vice-presidents —Messrs A. S. Clarke (Christchurch). L. D. Woolf (Dunedin). D. R. Cooper (Auckland); general treasurer. Mr C. Hill (Wellington); auditor, Mr J. L. tit eel (Wellington): executive council- Messrs R. T. Anderson and 11. Ilipkins (Auckland). V. Hill and J. Quin (Wellington). A. E. Tucker and ,E. (’. B. Johnston (Christchurch). W. F. Williams and If. Filmor (Dunedin). A largo amount of business was transacted.
