STEADIVABICS PCX TO TEST.
LONDON, February 19,
A new English violin, priced at £4O, won the day against a Stradivarius estimated to be worth £BOO, on a test in London. Concealed from view, a violinist played the two intruments before an audience of musical notabilities, who were asked to pronounce judgment on the tone. The majority favoured the instrument! turned out by the modern English firm.
