The suicide of Skovortzoff, member of the Political Control, lias caused a sensation among the Soviet leaders. Skovortzoff wrote to the leader of the Communist Group:—‘‘l have decided to commit suicide in order to hide myself from the crimes committed in the name of the Communists, for which I personally feel myself guilty.”—A. and N.Z.
