Tlio exporters of silk lingerie are%nffering as the result of - a campaign at Buenos Aires by rhe League of DecentMinded Women, who forwarded protests to the French Government against window displays of lingerie. The league is violently opposing the exhibition of deli-cately-attired wax models, saying that these figures are so seductive that youths are continually gazing at them, ancl girls are developing an exaggerated passion for scanty clothing. The league wants the lingerie displayed on wooden pegs. The ]<Vench exporters disagree with the suggestion.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
