It is written by Mr J. F. Cousins, General Secretary of tho N.Z. Motor Trade Association, to ii, provisional Director, and is dared 19th February, 1923: " I have received word from Australia, this morning tliat. the Victorian Company which finances the sales of Motor Vehicles is having a successful career. " Their first year closed on SOtli .Tunc last, when a dividend of 8 per ceut. was paid on preferential shares and ~:.G per cent, on ordinary shares. Since then an interim dividend for the half-year ending 31st December has teen paid at the same rates as paid for the first- year. "This information should be of use to the X.Z. Guarantee Corporation in convincing- any investors who are hesitating as to the success of similar companies in Australia.
