SAVING VERSAILLES
DEPUTIES’ GENEROUS VOTE. , LONDON, January 28. The Palace of Versailles, which, it was feared, would crumble into decay, has been saved. T'lio Chamber of Deputies has voted an animal sum of 31.250,000 francs for tive years for the restoration of the historic chateau and tho grounds of the Trianon.
