' (Received Jan. 19, at 9.10 p.m.) Wallace Reid’s death came following a relapse from a complication of diseases. He was weakened by overwork, and, acrcurding to an announcement by Mrs Reid, ii»d narcotics during a temporary ill-.'i-ms. Reid suffered from a breakdown tyo months ago. Pneumonia set in, and v-hen his recovery was expected an intestinal ailment caused a relapse from v hich. he was unable to recover.—A. and N.Z. Cable.'
