Lieutenant Alexander Pearson estab< lishod a speed record, arriving with a passenger in an army airplane from Dayton (Ohio). The distance (592 miles) was covered in four hours 32 minutes, which is 28 minutes less than the best previous non-stop record. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
