A NEW PLYMOUTH INCIDENT

SEQUEL IN POLICE COURT. (Pei? United Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, January 18. An unusual incident, and one about which there wore some menacing features, look piaro in the main street here last night, as a result of which Anthony Kelly appeared in court this morning to answer a series of charges arising out of tho occurrence. The charges were: 1. Assaulting n constable by presenting an unloaded revolver at him, saying, “I’ll fix you.” 2. Resisting a constable in the execution of his duly. ■ 3. Carrying firearms without a- license. 4. Having in his. possession an unregistered revolver. 5. Presenting an unloaded revolver at, a constable. Tho magistrate sent Kelly to gaol for one month, and inflicted lines totalling £l2.
