PRINCESS THEATRE

Mr Hamer, the local manager of the Princess Theatre, is keeping the standard of excellence in vaudeville well up to the mark. Ho is, of course, dependent on supplies, and the present programme leaves very little to complain of. There are several specially good turns, which are of a standard much above mediocrity. That has got to be acknowledged with such performers at the footlights as Potter and Hartwell, Lola 8130101100, and C. E. Lawrence; not necessarily in alphabetical order of merit. Amongst the stopovers may be mentioned ■ Beresford and Rennie. People nowadays are nothing if not alert to getting twenty shillings in the pound, and as much more as possible, and at present they arc getting a very fair return for the small sum spent for admission to the Princess •Theatre.
