CONCERT AT TAIERI MOUTH
It has been the custom during the holiday season at Taieri Mouth to hold entertainments in aid of the piano fund. The respouse to the efforts in this direction have ~i ; ib«cn so good that now sufficient funds . have been accumulated to purchase a pianp, fi, and future entertainments will be in aid. of hall improvements. The programme at i . these concerts is mainly supplied by the , visitors, of which this year there was almost a record number. The concert opened with community singing, and this was followed hv a recitation by Mr G. T. Lindlev Misses Gladys and Winnie Buss contributed a danoa; Mrs Priest, a recitation; Miss B. Denford, a song; Mr H. Salmon/. ■' a recitation : Mr T. W. Bobbie, a song;Mh--Miss Aylie, a dance: Mr vv. M Daiiald, a’Jm comic song; Mr 0. Thomson, a recitatiohr'-yir and Mr P. J. Priest, a song. Misa Denford played the accompaniments. A short dance followed the concert. -
