Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, as under; TO-DAY (THURSDAY), DECEMBER 7. For Australian States, South Africa, and the East, via Sydney (per Pukaki, from Auckland), by North Express at 10.15 a.m. Late-foo letters at guard’s van at 11.15 a.in. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 13. For Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji (per Navua, from Auckland) by North Express at 7 a.m, Latc-feo letters at mail van at 8 a.m. Owing to the unsettled state of shipping the advertised times for closing mails are liable to alteration.
