CLASS LEGISLATION.
TO THK EDITOR. Sir,—ln reply to the letter of "Working Man,'' "Wellington, it is peculiar that somo people, will not give others credit for sincerity of purpose in anything they do. Per haps "Working Man" will tell where the benefit ia to be derived under prohibition, as indicated 'by him by prohibitionists who are not shopkeepers. I may state that the gentlemen associated with myself are working for efficiency and are not shopkepers, and I may also inform him that they give a largo amount of time and also subscribe liberally to the funds of the prohibition cause. Dropping this aspect of the question, I would remind "Working Man" that my object in writing was to get Mr J. -«W. Munro ,to s'tate Jiis position on the No-license question. This, I am glad to inform "Working Man," Mr Munro has now done, and, as Mr Munro claims to be the working man's candidate, we may number hifa with the prohibitionists. Will he also accuse Mr Munro of the possibility of his (Mr Munro's) laying in a stock of liquor in the event of prohibition being carried? —I am, etc., For Efficiency[This correspondence is closed.—Ed.
