The Duke of Devonshire, in a letter to The Times, replying to yesterday’s leading article, calls attention to the fact that special sub-committees have been appointed, consisting of representatives of the executive, members nominated by the High Commissioners, and one representing the Crown colonies, to deal with the whole problem of Imperial supplies and materials. He also states that the commissioners are members of th© executive, and adds: “It is hard to imagine how any closer degree of co-operation is attainable, or wh»t further steps the council can take to satisfy the dominions that their interests are fully protected.—A. and N.Z: Cable.
