WEALTHY WOMAN'S WILL

BENEFICIARY CLEARED. RESULT OF EXHUMATION. LONDON,, November 17. Dr Hartzhorne, who was the beneficiarv under the will of a wealthy lady, Mrs Jelfs, and was suspected of poisoning her, has been exonerated by a coroner's jury. He had attempted suicide in an hotel in suspicious circumstances. Mrs Jelfs body was exhumed, but the post-mortem examination revealed no indication of poisoning. The coroner said he thought Dr Hartzhorne was unwise in not reporting the death to him when it occurred. Dr Hartzhorne, in evidence, said he had attended Mrs Jelfs for 36 years, and she made her will 12 years ago. The jury found that death was due to heart failure under an anaesthetic.
