MOTHER ATTACKS CHILD. VICTIM OF DELUSIONS. (Pee United Press Association.) ' THAMES, November 24. Early this morning a doctor was summoneu to the house of T. Bennett, and found the man’s son, aged nine years, lying on a bed with severe wounds on the scalp and his skull fractured. The mother, who had been in failing health tor some years, states that someone was going to take the child and illuse mm, so she determined to kill him and end his sufferings. the child, was removed to the hospital In a sen oils condition, and the woman taken to the hospital detention ward.
