RIFLE SHOOTING

The Kiwi Defence JLJfle Club fired the second competition of the president's match on Saturday afternoon. The club has been unfortunate in regard to this competition, aa the match had to be abandoned the previous Saturday on account of the fog. in© weather conditions last Saturday, too, were not favourable to good" shooting, a squally rear wind blowing. The shooting was not up to that of the previous Saturday, although some "ood one-range scores were made. The Kiwis "arc sending their A'team to Oamaru next Saiurday, and the B team will fill the annual fixture with Bruce on the same day. The following are the scores:
