, PROPOSED CONTROL BILL. PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEE. (From Our Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON. October 4. The Minister of Agriculture (the lion. ; W. N osworthy) to-day gave notice of his I intention to move for the appointment of the following committee to consider the proposed Dairy Produce Export Control, Rill Mes-rs 0. J. ITawken V. H. Reed, F. F. Hockly, H. Poland. R. Masters, A. D. t . MT.eod, A. Hamilton, H. E. Holland, 1J... Newman, land the mover. The Leader of th,e Opposition , asked ■ whether the Minister would not be prepared to add the name, of Mr S. G. Smith (Tarajiaki), since Taranaki was a large dairying ■— district. Mr Nostvorthy replied that in ]iis opinion ihe committee was large enough and representative enough. If he had erred at all it had been in the direction of making the committee too large. Ho preferred not to add to it.
