Afternoon tea having been served, .and a little time spent pleasantly in conversation. Mr Bradley commenced his address, taking the story of the feeding of the 5000. The chief point touched upon was the special part (lid lad played with his offering ofx !oay°s and fishes. Little girls from the age of 9 to 11 yeays are taken from school and often married at this early age to men. in some cases, of over 60 years." Their grief at- ihe loss of tdl their childish liberty and the cessation of ihe delights c.f p) ay and study at school was illustrated hv the reading cf a letter written bv a little girl of 12 years yhile still at school to the ed iter of a Blcs'em naner. This expressed fier grief at tho thought of the inevitable seclusion which awaited her and the loss of all opportunity of further shtdv at school.
