Dalgety aud Co have received advice that the'Waimana, which sailed from London on August 31 for Port Chalmers direct, and left Balboa on September IC. is due hero about Monday next. From Port Chalmers I she will go to Lyttelton and northern ports 'to complete discharge. She is scheduled to ■sail from Auckland for London about Nc* vember 9. WAIHORA, PROM CALCUTTA. The Union Steam Ship Company’s cargo steamer Waihora, from Calcutta, via Singapore, Samarang, Auckland, Wellington, and' Lyttelton, is due hero on Friday. On the trip to the East she took 6000 tons of Newcastle coal for Singapore. A cargo of about SOOO tons was shipped at Calcutta, mostly gunny bags, tea, and pig iron, end on August ID a departure was taken for Singapore. At 'Singapore, which was reached on August 26, the ship picked up 600 tons of tapioca, cane, and pepper, and left again on the 29th for Samarang, Java, which was reached on September 1. Five hundred tons .of kapok was taken into the holds, and tho vessel left on September 2 for Auckland, where she arrived on Saturday, September 23KAIWARRA, FROM WESTPORT. Tho Kaiwarra arrived at Auckland on Thursday afternoon from' Westport to discharge a cargo of coal. It is expected that ohe will sail to-day for Newcastle, Sydney. The following notice to mariners has been gazetted:—Referring to Notice to Mariners No. 42, of August 8, 1922, the red sector which was formerly shown from tho lighthouse situated on “the south-east point of Tiritiri Matangi Island, in the Hauraki Gulf (latitude 36 degrees 36 minutes S. longitude 174 degrees 54 minutes E.), has now been removed.
