GRAND CONCERT
A concert of an exceptionally high standard will bu hold in Burns Hall to-night. ; The performers are all well known, and the programme is well balanced. Duets will.be sung by Mrs Wilfred Andrews rind Mrs Astley Black, and Miss Edith Payne f and Mr L. A. North. A male quartette, : "The Song of the Pedler,’’ will be presented ■ by Messrs Newton. Mills. Blackwood, and : Cooper. Mr W. E. Crcwes will sing Coleridge Taylor's "Five and Twenty Sailor- ■! men," and Mr J. Leech will render “Lorraine.’’ The elocutionary portion of thap programme is in Miss Bessie Thomsons “ capable hands, while the lighter side of the proceedings will take the form of community singing, led by Mr H. P. Desmoulins,' An instrumental trio will open the entertainment with a, touch of Bohemianism. The Indies’ auxiliary of the Y.M.C.A. is responsible for the concert. '■
