(Pee United Press Association.) WAIROA, September 29. A fire broke out at about 6.30 to-night in the North Clyde portion of the town. A large general store belonging to Mackay’s estate was totally destroyed. Fortunately there was no wind, or the whole of that business part ci the town must have ■gone, as the town is without fire-fighting appliances. The origin of the outbreak is unknown. The insurances are not available. lIAWESR.A, September 29. Mr W. D. Taylor, a traveller, died in n private hospital this morning as the result of a fall from a push-bike, caused through a dog running out on the road and upsetting him.
