GERALDINE RACES. MEETING CONCLUDED. ROYAL MAC WINS THE PRESIDENT’S HANDICAP. (Fbom Oub Own Repohteh.) TIMARU, September 29. Th© Geraldine meeting was concluded today in fin® v,leather, and the attendance was about on a par with the opening day. The track had dried up, and provided much better going with the result that Royal Mao acted much better, and won the principal event from end to end. Mr P. D. M’Nab did excellent work at the barrier on both days, and again proved himself a decided acquisition to the list of starters in the South Island. During the day £11,298 went through the totalisator, making £23,190 for the meeting, as against £20,639 at last season’s fixture. Frisco Mail, Nyonza, and Dollarpiece were all held under lease, and were coupled on the machine in the Wainui Handicap.
