A NOTABLE ADVANCE. Pnaaa Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, September 28. A notable advance in marine engineering is claimed to be embodied in a vessel which Fairfields (Glasgow) arc building for the Vancouver service for the Union Steam Ship Company. The vessel will be fitted with Diesel engines and will be 600 ft long, with a speed of 18 knots.—Reuter.
