HIGHLAND REGIMENTS
RESTORATION Of SPORRAN. LONDON, August 28. Sir Harry Lauder’s protest against the misuse of the sporran, feather and bonnet in the Highland regiments, has elicited a War Office assurance that it is not permanent. These articles are part of the Highland regiments’ full dress, but all regiments except the Guards are still restricted to service uniform. The sporran and feathers will return with full dress.
