[Dr Brebner served as a lieutenant in the R.A.M.O, during the war, He travelled in China, Japan, the East Indies, and Australia, and wrote for several English magazines. He entered the _ Postal Department’s service at Brisbane in 1802, was superintendent of telegraphs for Queensland 1899-1901, and was the permanent head of commonwealth telegraphs sinOe 1901.] DR BELL'S DEATH.
