“NO MORE WAR” DEMONSTRATION.

On Tuesday, August 8, at 8 o’clock, in the King’s Theatre, there will be a “no more war” demonstration. The object is in accord with similar meetings which haw taken place in France, Holland, Germany, Sweden, Austria, and the rest of Europe, and also in the United States of America, to express the overwhelming determination of the people of all countries that there shall be no more war. It is felt that if this cr/ for peace is raised by the people of all nations the effect on the governments of the world must be considerable. Prominent men and women in public life have been invited to speak. Religious leaders, political leaders, labour loaders, leading women and ox-service men. will stand side by side and declare for no more war, and an ex-service man will move the main resolution.
