The following railways are said to he involved;—The Great Central, the Groat - Eastern, the Great Northern, the Great > North of Scotland, Hull and Barnsley, the North British, and the North-eastern. The total issued capital is £343,000,000, and the gross receipts for . 1921' were • £90,000,000. The combined mileage is ,; more than 7000 miles.—A. and N.Z. Cable MANILA, August 2.
