At the tallow soles 1840 casks were offered and 339 sold. Prices were unchanged, but showed an easier tendency. Harris and Co. report having offered at auction yesterday in the estate of Elizabeth Rose Wilkinson (deceased),.part of section 17, block XVIII, Dunedin, having a frontage of 34ft to York place, by 132 ft, with a five-roomed house thereon (No. 101 York place). The property was passed in, the bidding not reaching the reserve, hut it was sold immediately afterwards to a client for £9OO
