SIXTY YEARS AGO. FROM THE Otago Daily Times. “ Inveniam viam and faciam " TUESDAY, JULY 8, 1862.

lire company for the new Theatre Royal, including Mr and Mrs Clarence Holt. Madame Duret, and Mr Le Roy, arrived by the City of Hobart yesterday and it is, we believe, intended to open the Theatre for the first time on Saturday evening.^ The re-modelling of tho Princess Theatre proceeds at a Vapid pace, and already it is easy to see that the house will be a very great improvement upon its former state, both as regards extent of accommodation and provision for comfort.
