Colonel Creswell, a former leader of the Labour Party, has been returned, 1 with. a ~: majority of 15, at the by-election for Stamford Hill. Durban, thus Increasing tha strength of the party to 13 and reducing - the Government’s majority to the same figure. It is expected that Colonel Creswell will - resume the leadership of the party, which - - 1 hitherto has been held bv Mr BoydelL— - A. and N.Z. Cable. '
