ARTS AND HOBBY SHOW. The boys’ section of the Y.M.C.A. was responsible on Thursday for an arts, crafts, and hobby show, which reflected great credit on the exhibitors and attracted largo numbers of people interested in the work of the association. The exhibits were spread over u wide variety of subjects, and nearly all of them wore striking testimonies to the application and. ingenuity of the young craftsmen. The show was not confined to tho inanimate, pots being included under the “hobby" section. Tho Mayor (Mr J. SDouglas) declared tho show open. It continued to attract numerous visiters yesterday afternoon and evening, and will remain open to-morrow. Following are the prize-winners: Guinea pigs: G. Miller 1, H. Laughlin 2, R. Lamb 3, A. A display was also given by members of tho junior gymnastic class, who were put through a series of attractive exercises by The instructor, end acquitted themselves very creditably. The display was watched by a large number of spectators.
