CONCESSION IN QUEENSLAND. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright BRISBANE, June 24. The Executive Council exempted from the operation of the Banana Industry Preservation Act all British subjects of any Indian native race who were lawfully domiciled in Queensland in 1921, and who had continuously remained so. The Minister of Agriculture declined to say whether or not this action was the result of Mr Sastri’s intervention; but it is regarded as significant that Mr Sastri, in his speech, expressed his desire in this direction.
