(Pxb United Pbebb Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 17. At Addington Market to-day yardmgs of all sections of stock were smaller. Fat lambs gold a shade better, likewise prime - fat sheep, but beef' was unaltered, and store sheep scarcely sold, as freely as last week. Store, Sheep.—A fair entry, -principally ewes, with several lines of wethers from very far afield. The market was rather weaker for eVes and lambs, with wethers much about the same as last week. Forward lambs, 14s 6d to 17s 7d; good, 12s 3d to 14s; medium, 10s fid to, 12s; small.

8s 6d to 10s; cull, 6s to 8s; good half-bred ewe lambs to 23s 3d; other ewe lambs, 14s 6d to 19s; good crossbred, six and eignttooth ewes, 22s to 25s 2d; good, 21s 6d to 235: ordinary, 16s 6d to 20s- inferior and low conditioned. 12s 9d to 15s 8d; failingmouthed, 11s 6d to 15s 3d; aged, 3s 6d to 8s 6d; fairly forward six anc( . wethers to 18s: ordinary, 14s to 16s 6ti: ordinary', 14s 6d to 17s; two-tooths 12s to rat Lambs. —4963 were penned, about 500 less than last week. The bulk were unfinished. The sale opened at last week s values, but firmed up near the finish, and averaged about 7 7-Ed per lb. Extra prime lambs. 25s to 30s; prime, 21s 9d to 24s bd; medium 19s 9d to 21s' 6d; light and unfinished, 16s 6d to 19s 6d. Fat Sheep.—A smaller yarding and a hardening tendency for .heavy sheep; light ewes being slightly easier. Prime sheep were generally beyond exporters limits.
