SIR LESLIE WARD. Preea Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, May 16. Obituary: Sir Leslie Ward, cartoonist. [Sir Leslie Ward (“Spy,” of Vanity Fair. 1873-1909) also devoted a great portion of his time to portrait painting, particularly in recent years. A member of the Royal Academy, he exhibited there and elsewhere from time to time architectural drawings and oil and water-colour portraits. In 1915 ho issued his publication, “Forty Years of ‘Spy.’ ”]
