NORWEGIAN REPRESENTATIONS TO THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS. DR NANSEN’S REPORT. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. GENEVA, May 16. (Received May 17, at 8.30 p.m.) Dr Nansen, on behalf of the Norwegian Government, in an address to the League of Nations Council, demanded the creation of .a special body to deal with the famine and disease conditions in Russia, which rendered vain all hope of his collaborating in the economic recovery of the country until they were improved. The Council decided to send Dr Nansen’s report to the Genoa Conference.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
