He was placing decoys in position, when his gun was accidentally discharged, and he was shot through the heart, death being instantaneous. MARRIED WOMAN’S DEATH. NELSON, May 3. Ellen Jones, aged 39. living near Riwaka, shot herself with a Winchester rifle. Deceased resided with her husband, and leaves four children, aged from 17 to 4 years. The family formerly resided at Reefton.
