FATAL, TERMINATION. MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE FOLLOWS. fP«» United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 28. Thaddeus Doody was arrested this morning on a charge of manslaughter. It is reported that Doody and John O’Neill, both single men, and labourers, engaged in a fight last night, in the street at Rangiora, and that the latter was arrested for drunkenness and taken to the police station. There ho complained of his head being sore, and on medical advice was taken to Christchurch Hospital, but died shortly ahor being admitted. Doody appeared before the court this morning, and was remanded. Bail was allowed.
