Mr Miller said that the Schools’ Sports Association had held a meeting that afternoon to consider the matter, and had come to a decision. " Mr Harris asked whether the association should not Tvave waited until it had received an official communication from the union. He asked Mr Dunne if he proposed to go any further if the association could not see its way to agree to the request. Mr Dunne said that he certainly did. They were a body gathered together from all sources, and had nothing to do with the State school business. If the association did not help the union, it was like the tail wagging the dog. Mr Miller said that the Schools’ Association was deeply grateful to the Rugby Union for what it had done, and it hoped it would support them in their move. They quite- believed tiiat those schools that were not State schools would be able to carry on their own football. Messrs, Dunne. Cavanagh. White, and Harris were appointed a committee to wait on the Schools’ Association and endeavour to get them to arrange for admitting the outside primary schools.
