AFTER A SEVEN YEARS’ TEST.
Mr W. J. Thornton, of 11 Boronia street, Canterbury, Victoria, writes Mr A. W. Martin, the rupture specialist, to the effect that he will be pleased to testify to anyone who cares to correspond with him that by means of tho Dr J. A. Sherman appliance and the skilled treatment of Mr A. W. Martin he has been completely cured of rapture and is now able to carry on his usual occupation as butcher, even to the lifting of heavy quarters of beef, without the slightest inconvenience. Before applving to Mr Martin, Mr Thornton states in his letter that he tried every conceivable description of truss, even going to the expense of importing from England, but though he gave them the most patient trial none were effective in relieving him. His invita tion to certify to cure in his own case is tendered solely in a spirit of sympathy with those who are still suffering as he himself once did. Mr 'Thornton is onlv one of hundreds who have been thoroughly cured of rupture and, consequently, who are now enjoying the blessing of sound body—i.e.. able to carry on their usual occupations in comfort and also enjoy their leisure lime. Local sufferers should lose no timo in seeing Mr Martin, for he proposes a visit to tho south next month. Mr A. W. Martin may be consulted at his rooms, Samson’s Buildings, Dowling street, daily, 10 to 12 noon, 2 to 5 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 to 12 noon.
