At the Addington . market store sheep again provided an overflow yarding, the entry being the biggest of the year. Fat cattle were again in over supply, the entry being a record for this season. Fat lambs were forward in average numbers, and fat sheep exceeded the normal entry. Except for beef there was a good sale. Store Sheep.—A big yarding included drafts of outside sheep from Marlborough, Chathams, and elsewhere. A spirited »ale ensued for all classes, particularly lambs and ewes, and a good clearance was effected. Forward rape lambs, 15s 3d to 17s 7d; good, 13s to 14s 9d; medium, 10s 3d to 12s fid; small, 8s to 10s sd; cull, 5s to 7s 9d;

good four and six-tooth ewes, 18s M to 21»; ordinary, 16s 6d to 18s 6d r low conditioned and inferior, 11s Od to 14a; good halfbred eight-tooth ewes, 19s to 20s lOd; good half* bred two-tooth ewes, 22s 6d to 255; fair crossbred. 18s to 19s fid; inferior, 12s (o 14s 6d; fairly good four and five-year-old ewes, 15s 6d to 17s fid; rape ewes, 7e to 9s fid: cull, 5s fid to fis fid; forward four and six-tooth wethers to 18s: four and sixtooth wethers, 14s to 15s 4d; inferior and low-conditioned, 12a fid'to 15s; forward twotooth wethers to 16s; ordinary, Us to 13a. F.at Lambs.—42so were penned, the bulk of which were well finished. A sharp rise was recorded on last week's prices of about 2s per head, and over all values were from 7jd to 73d per lb. Extra prune lambs, 25s to 30s 3d; prime, 21s 9d to 24« fid; medium, 18s 9d -to 21s; light and inferior, 16s to 18s fid. Fat Sheep.—The market was a little changed from last week, heavy ewes being a shade better. Freezers were bought freely up to a limit. Extra prime wethers, 24s to 21s 3d; prime, 20s to 235; medium, 18s to 19s 9d; light, 16s to 17s 9d; extra prime ewes to 21s 3d- prime, 16s fid to 19« 3d; medium, 13s fid to 16s 3d; inferior, 11* to 13s 3d. Fat Cattle.—An over supply. The yarding numbered 445 head, including some good station drafts. Values slipped back by 20s to 30s per head.
