The Paloona, which left Melbourne on Saturday wiih passengers, mails, and general oargo for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, )end Bluff, is due at Wellington to-day, and is to-hail on that day for Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is now expected to arrive htfre on Sunday, and to sail the following day for Melbourne, via Bluff. . . The Waihemo from Auckland, via Lyttelton should reach Dunedin about Tuesday. She will proceed to Melbourne and Sydney to complete the discharge of her Pacific Coast cargo. . _ The Kaiori, from Greymouth, via Wellington and Lyttelton, is duo here about Saturday to discharge coal and timber. The Kaituna, from Lyttelton, is due hero to-morrow, and after completing discharge of her Australian cargo, will proceed to Greymouth to load timber for Melbourne. The Wingattd, which is scheduled to leave Auckland to-day for Wellington, Lyttelton, »n«( Dunedin, is due here about March 30. A wireless message received from tho Dorset, cn route from Liverpool, states that the vessel should arrive at Auckland on March 26, -Sbe is due at Wellington on April 2. SOMERSET’S LOADING. Continuing Homeward loadSng on the New Zealand coast, the Somerset arrived at Wellington on Sunday evening from Napier. From Wellington she is to proceed to Wanganui, hut is to return _to Wellington to complete her cargo, ond will finally sail from that port for West of England porta. ■- KATOA FOR AUCKLAND. The Katoa, which loaded about 3300 tons of coal at Westport for Auckland, was expected to leave Westport yesterday, and should arrive at Auckland on Saturday. WESTMORELAND FOR HOME. The Westmoreland, which left Wellington on February 24, arrived at Montevideo on March 16, and continued her Homeward! voyage on the following day. SOMERSET FOR HOME. The Somerset is scheduled to leave Wellington on Saturday for West Coast of England ports. _ STEAMERS REPORTED AT PANAMA, The; O. and D. Line steamer Port Chalmers sirived at Panama on the 13th inst. from Lyttelton, en route to London. Cable notifications state that the Port Denison, en route from New York to New Zealand ports, passed Panama Canal on the 14th inst. She is due at Auckland on April 6. SCOTTISH SHIRE LINE. Messrs Turnbull, Martin, and Co., lc«jd agents for the Scottish Shite Line, advise that the Buteshire, from Sydney, should arrive at Bluff on Saturday. She will load -general cargo for London at that port, and at Port Chalmers and Wanganui. Wellington wiU he her final loading port. THE CITY OF HANKOW. Messrs Turnbull, Martin, and Co, report that the steamer City of Hankow has been further delayed in working her cargo at Lyttelton. She will load at Pacific Coast ports during April for New Zealand and Australian porta. The Hauraki is expected to load at Pacific Coast ports during May for New Zealand and Australian ports. CANADIAN GOVERNMENT LINE. Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co., who have recently been appointed agents and stevedores for the Canadian Government Merchant Marine (Ltd.) at Bluff and Dunddin, report the following movements of vessels: The Canadian Spinner, which left Norfolk on February 3, arrived at Auckland on March 15, and after calling at Wellington is due here early next week. She will proceed to Bluff, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne. • The Canadian Scottish, which left Vancouver on March 11 for Lyttelton direct, is due it that port about April 10. The Canadian Britisher, at present at Melbourne, ie to sail for Vancouver, via Japan. She is to sail from Pacific Coast on May 11 for Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. • The Canadian Importer, at present at Adelaide, is to sail early from an Australian port for Vancouver, via Japan. The Canadian Skirmisher sailed from Auckland on March 2 for Newcastle, Sydney, and Melbourne. Shd is returning from an Australian port to Vancouver, via Japan. The Canadian Victor is due at Wellington on April 15 from Australia to load for New York, Boston, and Montreal. The Canadian Constructor has been scheduled to load at Wellington and other dominion ports about the middle of May for New York, Boston, and Canadian ports.
