The welcome will be the most elaborate ever staged in Japan'. Court and official circles and the common people are keenly interested in the Royal visit. A special railway train, with coacheA designed and decorated bv Japan’s foremost artists, will be used for the Prince’s tour. Millions of British flags are being manufactured. The Imperial palaces and other points where the Prince will stav are being lavishly decorated.—A. and N.Z. Cable. DEPARTURE FOR COLOMBO. DELHI, March 17. The Prince of Wales arrived at Karachi this morning, and presented the colours to the 126th Baluchistan Infantry. He also unveiled a war memorial. He embarked in the cruiser Comus in Kaimari Harbour, and thence was transferred to the Renown, which left for Colombo, where she will arrive on Tuesday.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
